DATE: Edwardian, c.1910 

A gorgeous antique ring, set with the most fabulous 4.12 carat oval aquamarine. The stone displays excellent colour, a pale, water-like blue and is surrounded by a "satellite" cluster of eight old cut diamonds, around half a carat in weight. It's crafted in 15k yellow gold throughout, a lovely contrast to the bright blue stone, and it features open backed settings, allowing the light to shine through the stone, enhancing it's colour. With elegantly split shoulders, it dates from the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
